Joe Drumgoole

Joe Drumgoole is a software entrepreneur with over 25 years experience of successful product delivery at Digital Equipment Corporation, Nomura, Oracle Corporation, CR2 and Cape Clear Software.

He has founded and exited two software companies LeCayla Technologies was co-founded with Conor Halpin in 2002 and sold to OpSource in 2008. In 2006 Joe was the sold founder of PutPlace.com, a consumer backup solution. PutPlace was one of the first companies in the world to adopt the Amazon AWS service as its cloud computing platform. Joe sold PutPlace in 2009.

Joe’s continues to provide advice and consultancy to a number of Irish start-ups and is a regular speaker at technology conferences.
