Hosted by NCI with the Irish Internet Association in partnership with

Silicon Republic

What is the dot conf?

The dot conf is a new web technology conference for anyone who works, rests or plays with the internet. It’s a one day event and it’s. Essentially it’s a teddy bears picnic but with internet folk instead of bears.

Why go?

  • There will be awesome speakers, who will be inspiring, intriguing and invigorating.
  • There will be cake and beer and a chance to meet other people who like cake, beer AND the internet.
  • You’ll be at the launch of NCI’s new MSc in Web Technologies.
  • It’s a chance to meet the faces behind the screens, the typing fingers and the clickers of the mice.

Who should come?

Designers, entrepreneurs, freelancers, coders, bloggers, 3rd level students, developers, social media types, IT personnel, educators, marketers, usability engineers, software architects and you.

Who shouldn’t come?

Dangerous animals and pirates.

It’s on in National College of Ireland, Mayor St, IFSC, Dublin 1.

It has it’s own LUAS stop, so no excuses!

Thursday July 22nd. With registration starting at 10am and the first speaker at 10.30.

Book your place now! (Remember, it’s totally free, but you do need to register to book your place. We’ll only use your info to get in touch about the dot conf, and we won’t share your details with anyone else. But we won’t mind if you give our details out to all your friends. In fact, we’d kinda like it.)

There are lots of lovely people involved in this event. Here are just a few of them (there’ll be more to follow):
